Description
Display model of the sailing yacht “Columbia”, to be assembled, made of varnished and polychrome wood. Mounted on a plinth. Made of cardboard, in mint condition, with instructions. Length of hull only: 72.5 cm; overall length: 100 cm. The Columbia is a 40-metre American racing yacht, designed for the America’s Cup. It was the first sailing yacht to win two consecutive victories, in 1899 and 1901, in this most prestigious and oldest American international regatta in the history of sailing.
