Fernand LEGER (1881–1955), after LAFARGE in Limoges. “Hands Reaching Towards the Sun 1974”. Porcelain plate with black enamelled decoration. Monogrammed at the bottom of the decoration. Produced to mark the 18th national congress of the F.N.D.I.R.P. (National Federation of Deportees, Internees, Resistance Fighters and Patriots), held in Limoges in June 1974. D. = 24.5 cm. Small chip on the foot and slight wear to the glaze.
