Dial with enamelled cartouches bearing Roman numerals and a chiselled, gilded background (one hand damaged; rust), surmounted by a cassolette (needs reattaching). Blade movement, made by Japy Frères. With its balance wheel. Napoleon III period. Total height: 46.5 cm; maximum width: 42.5 cm. Rust and oxidation; some ornamentation missing (garlands). Needs cleaning and servicing.
