A three-compartment ‘mute’ serving dish, known as a ‘beggar’s dish’, in polychrome glazed earthenware in the Louis XV ‘rocaille shell’ style, with a ‘street lamp’ motif of flowers (roses, tulips). Handwritten signature in green: ‘KG Lunéville France L’. Early 20th century. Diameter 36.5 cm. Minor chips to the rims; slight wear to the decoration.
