Two hat pins featuring Egyptian motifs, in gilded bronze and mounted with preserved scarab beetles: one with a trilobed design, centred on a malachite-style cabochon; the other with outstretched wings, holding a preserved scarab beetle as a pendant. A stock label is present on each pin. According to family history and a known catalogue entry, these pins are believed to have come from Chopard Frères (registered 1897–1906 at 31 Rue Chapon, according to the ‘Azur’ reference).
