ALIGHIERO BOETTI Turin 1940 – Rome 1994 D.U.E. Alighiero in Corfu in the seventies, Salvo drew, 1975, Marker pen on squared paper mounted on card, 40 x 30 cm Authenticated from a photograph in the Alighiero Boetti Archive, no. 2683 The two portraits of AB, created in felt-tip pen on sheets of squared paper, were produced by Salvo in 1970. A few years later, in 1975, AB treated the two sheets by his artist friend as a ready-made, recontextualising them within one of his own compositions.
