Austrian painter and graphic artist of the 20th century. Born in Vienna in 1909 as Robert Hanna, his art embodied naturalistic Romanticism; in 1938, he was banned from working under Nazi rule, but resumed his activities after the war and remained active in Vienna until his death in 1988. Hanna mainly produced graphic works and paintings featuring romantic-naturalistic motifs, including landscapes and figure compositions.
