Christoph Hessel is a contemporary German graphic artist, etcher and art educator. He is regarded as one of the most versatile and experimental masters of modern etching in Germany. Until his retirement, he worked as a secondary school teacher in Munich. For decades, he served on the board of the renowned Association for Original Etchings. Hessel lives and works in Munich.
