In the 1960s and 1970s, Krämer enjoyed his most productive period as a painter and master of printmaking. He devoted himself almost exclusively to Surrealism and fantastical motifs. A significant milestone in his career came in 1977 with his major solo exhibition “Hans Krämer: Drawings and Prints” at the renowned Ostdeutsche Galerie in Regensburg.
