ESTIMATE €100 – €150 STARTING PRICE €100 Peppino Wieternik (born Josef Wieternik) was a prominent Austrian painter and art teacher. He is regarded as one of the most distinctive figures in abstract and informal painting within post-war Viennese modernism. Wieternik’s body of work is characterised by a radical stylistic diversity, which he documented in around 350 oil paintings and over 500 prints.
