Emilie Dworsky was an Austrian painter, printmaker and graphic artist. As early as the spring of 1912, she exhibited at the Secession, thus forming part of that generation of female artists who made their mark at the intersection of modern printmaking and developments in Austrian art. Her work is situated within the context of the early 20th-century Viennese art scene and is today interpreted, amongst other things, in relation to the Secession and Austrian Modernism.
