Róza Molnár (1900–1977) was a Hungarian graphic designer and modern painter. She was born on 11 October 1900 in Monor and died on 5 May 1977 in Vác. From 1923 to 1927 she studied at the famous artists’ colony in Baia Mare under István Réti and János Thorma. Whilst still a student, she exhibited her works in group exhibitions. In the 1930s, she spent a long period in Paris before settling once more in Baia Mare and eventually returning permanently to Hungary. Her body of work includes landscapes, still lifes and interior scenes – initially naturalistic, but later becoming increasingly colourful and expressive. In addition to painting, she also worked as a book illustrator. Other artists and styles: Béla Kádár, Dezső Czigány, József Rippl-Rónai, János Vaszary, Expressionism, Post-Impressionism
