Among her specialities was alugraphy, a flat-printing technique that uses aluminium plates and is similar to lithography. In this process, she favoured the demanding scraping technique (the mezzotint principle) to create profound, atmospheric contrasts of light and dark. Her home and artistic base were in Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria, where she ran her own studio. She was an active and regionally renowned artist, particularly in the 1960s and 1970s.
