ZERO Piene, Otto Tele black-white-pink-yellow. 1970. Colour silkscreen print on vellum. 40 x 40 cm (60 x 44 cm). Signed, dated and numbered. Mounted under a passe-partout. - Traces of mounting on the reverse. Occasional slight surface scuffing. Sheet slightly yellowed due to age. Occasional small brown spots. Overall in good condition. A magnificent and high-contrast composition with a clear structure of colour and planes. Cf.: Rottloff 76. One of 100 copies. - From the 1950s onwards, Otto Piene developed a working method centred on light, colour and energy within the context of the ZERO movement. His works are characterised by serial structures and a minimalist formal language.
