Colour Interpenetration: Red, Blue, Green. 1990/91. Acrylic on hardboard. 63.5 × 63.5 cm. Fitted into an artist’s frame. Typographically labelled, titled and dated on a label on the reverse. – Surfaces show some minor scuffs in places. Corners and edges slightly bumped. Overall in very good condition. An excellent, factory-fresh work with intense colouring.
Roland Meinel is one of the leading exponents of concrete-constructivist art in Leipzig. His work is based on geometric patterns, serial colour sequences and optical spatial effects.
