Large folio (66.5 x 52.5 cm). – Papiergesänge 113 - For Paul Wunderlich, the *Canticum canticorum* became ‘… a vehicle for one of the most fascinating sequences of images … Unlike any of his predecessors, Wunderlich succeeded in translating the associative nature of the Psalms into his surreal visual language and thus into our present day … Wunderlich transforms the metaphor into a graphic collage that unfolds the poetic structure of the text into a visual narrative …” (H.
