9 linocuts, each signed by the artist. In: Szines linómetszetek. Hungary, 1927. First edition. 34 x 29 cm. In an original folder containing a mounted, signed linocut (slightly bumped). – Very slight staining in places along the edges. In good condition.
Portfolio of avant-garde linocuts by the Hungarian painter and graphic artist Emil Róbert Novotny. 7 colour and 2 black-and-white linocuts, each signed and dated in pencil by the artist. - Emil Róbert Novotny (1898–1975) is associated with the circles of modern artists in Nagybánya, the cradle of modern Hungarian painting. Some of the compositions were enhanced by Novotny with acrylic paint.
