The title juxtaposes two protagonists of radical boundary experiences: Helen Keller as a paradigm of perception beyond familiar sensory channels, and Joseph Beuys as the embodiment of an expanded concept of art and knowledge. In the work, the tension between the two remains deliberately unresolved; the sparingly applied visual symbols reflect this conceptual openness.
