Colour aquatint etchings on heavy-weight vellum. 16.7 x 16.5 to 49.5 x 45 cm. Each signed, dated, titled and, in some cases, numbered or marked as an artist’s proof (“e.a.”). - Occasional slight surface scuffing. Corners partly minimally bumped. Partially showing slight crease marks. Overall in very good condition. Excellent prints with rich colour application and well-defined plate edges.
This six-part collection documents the artist’s development in printmaking over a period of around two decades. His works are characterised by a highly complex, multi-stage etching process in which basic geometric forms and free, organic line structures converge within vibrant colour fields.
