Untitled (Composition in Pink, Orange and Violet). 1987. Mixed media with pastel on heavy-weight vellum, washed. 22.3 x 14.5 cm (31 x 22 cm). Signed and dated; estate stamp on the reverse. Mounted at points on backing and framed with a passe-partout. – Slight edge wear around the passe-partout cut-out, with subtle stains and handling marks. Overall in very good condition. The colours are vibrant.
A luminous composition from the 1980s, in which finely layered, even strokes give rise to a dense pictorial space characterised by great draughtsmanlike precision and a striking sense of depth.
