The signature, date and numbering have been torn off. 1973. Silkscreen print with a corner torn off as part of the work’s design, on vellum. 19 x 38 cm (76.5 x 53.5 cm). – A few slight handling and studio marks in places. Overall in good condition. A magnificent, deep black and velvety print with a wide margin.
One of 100 copies. - Published as the annual gift for the Kölnischer Kunstverein in 1973. - On 1 October 1973, Ben Vautier hand-signed, dated and numbered 100 copies of the silkscreen print in the right-hand corner of each, and subsequently tore off and burnt the corners.
Silkscreen with inherent corner tear on wove paper. - Light handling and studio marks in places. All in all in good condition.
