Hofmann, Ludwig von
Ripe Fruit. 1916. Colour lithograph on vellum. 41.5 x 31 cm (54.6 x 44 cm). Monogrammed on the stone. Slight foxing along the former mount cut-out; the lower right-hand corner shows slight creasing and minimal folding marks. Overall in good condition. Excellent, chalky print with margins.
Söhn HDO 51004-4. – Plate 4 of the ‘IV. Jahresgabe der Freunde Graphischer Kunst 1916’, published by the Association for the Promotion of Original Graphic Art, Leipzig (without the drystamp mentioned by Söhn).
Fin de Siècle. - Colour lithograph on wove paper. Monogrammed in the stone. Slightly light-struck within the former mat opening; the lower right-hand corner shows a subtle compression and very minor crease marks. Overall in good condition. Superb, chalky impression with margins. - Sheet 4 from the Fourth Annual Presentation Print of the Friends of Graphic Arts, 1916 (IV.
