‘Cheers to our comrades, to the horse, to the horse, out into the field, off to freedom!’, from: ‘Wallenstein’s Camp’. 1922. Etching on vellum. 25.7 x 20.5 cm (34.6 x 25.8 cm). Signed and inscribed “Pr. (printed)”. - Slightly darkened where the original passe-partout was cut out, slightly irregularly browned impression on the reverse, small traces of the original mounting in the two upper corners; overall in good condition. An absolutely excellent, wonderfully vigorous and crisp print with margins.
Müller 814. – From: ‘Wallenstein’s Camp’. – Included: Lovis Corinth, ‘He must come through this high alley’, from: ‘William Tell’, colour lithograph, 1923 (Müller 785).
Etching on wove paper. Signed and marked ‘Pr. (obedruck)’. - Barely darkened in the former mat section, the reverse slightly irregularly browned, small traces of previous mounting in both upper corners, all in all in good condition. A superb, wonderfully rich and burr-like impression with margin. - From: ‘Wallenstein’s Camp’. - Included: with the work mentioned above.
