Kuhfuss, Paul
Small Town. 1925. Chalk and watercolour on vellum. 45.5 x 37.5 cm. Signed, dated and annotated by a third party. Framed under glass; the back of the frame bears the estate’s stamp, typographic work titles and references to the catalogue raisonné. - The sheet is slightly browned due to age; the edges are slightly irregular due to previous mounting; on the right, there is a barely noticeable tear of approx. 12 cm, which has been professionally reinforced on the reverse. On the reverse, there are partial traces of studio work. Overall in good condition.
Hellwich/Röske 25/9. – This sheet, depicting a city skyline, was created during the period when Kuhfuss was increasingly active within the Berlin Secession circle.
