Portrait of a Chinese Woman. 1902. Etching and roulette on heavy vellum. 7.8 x 6 cm (25.2 x 19 cm). Signed and numbered. Mounted in places on the reverse of the passe-partout. – Very slightly browned in the passe-partout cut-out and in places along the margins; a few smoothed crease marks in the upper left-hand corner; slightly browned in a few places on the reverse; traces of mounting along the margins; overall in good condition. An excellent, high-contrast print, the portrait finely modelled against the background, with a sharply defined plate edge and a wide margin, featuring the watermark on two sides.
