Published in 1962 as part of the ‘Combat pour la Paix’ portfolio in Paris. Printed under the official licence of the French copyright association S.P.A.D.E.M. (Société de la Propriété Artistique des Dessins et Modèles). The print is based on an original design by Picasso from 1958. The composition, concentrated into a few, minimalist lines, depicts a bouquet of flowers in the French national colours of blue, white and red. The motif was created as part of Picasso’s programmatic commitment to the post-war international peace movement.
