Black Bar and Yellow Disc. 1969. Colour silkscreen print on lightweight Velin card. 45.5 × 32.6 cm (68 × 52.7 cm). Signed, dated and numbered. – Slightly yellowed within the passe-partout cut-out. Occasional slight surface scuffing. Adhesive strips along the outer edges on the reverse, probably from mounting. Overall in good condition. A magnificent print, rich in colour and high in contrast, with a wide margin.
Vitt 42. - One of 100 copies. - Printed by Adolf Pilz, Braunschweig. - Annual gift from the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf 1970. - Vitt states the year of printing as 1970.
