[Dia AL-AZZAWI] Three exhibition catalogues: Basel Fair 1981 (Galerie Waddah Faris); Institut du Monde Arabe (2002); Paris Art Fair 2013 (Galerie Claude Lemand). a) Catalogue of the "Azzawi" exhibition presented by Galerie Waddah Faris (Paris) at the Basel Fair from 17 to 22 June 1981. Preface by Corneille. In-8 paperback, unpaginated (ca. 26 pp.), 10 works reproduced (with captions) in colour, one on a fold-out page. In French. This exhibition marks the close collaboration between Azzawi and the Galerie Faris, a showcase for many North African (Belkahia, Aksouh, Melehi, etc.) and Middle Eastern (Huguette Caland, Adam Henein, etc.) artists in the 1980s. A multi-talented artist and formidable gallery owner, Faris has helped to move modern and contemporary Arab art out of its natural habitat, making this the first exhibition of an Arab artist at the Basel Fair. b) Catalogue of the exhibition "Dia Azzawi" organised at the Institut du Monde Arabe in collaboration with the Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha from 30 October 2001 to 13 January 2002.
