[MODERN ART, TUNISIA] Mostra di pittura Tunisina contemporanea. Catalogue of an exhibition of contemporary Tunisian painting held from 11 to 26 January 1964 in Milan. Square format (20 cm), unpaginated (ca.31pp.), 23 reproductions of works in black. In Italian. Curated by Hedi Turki. Biographies of the 23 artists exhibited: Jacques Arnaud, Ali Bellagha, Nejib Belkhodja, Jellal Ben Abdallah, Ali Ben Salem, Pierre Berjole, Guy Bonetto, Pierre Boucherle, Brahim Dahak, Hatem El Mekki, Amart Farhat, Safia Farhat, Abdelaziz Gorgi, Chacha Guiga, Noureddine Khayachi, Naceur Klibi, Ameur Makni, Fabio Rocchegianni, Mahmoud Sehili, Hedi Turki, Zoubeir Turki, Yahia Turki, Gilbert Zitoun. This major exhibition brought together 23 artists and 179 works, giving a broad representation of the pictorial space in Tunisia in the 1960s. During the same decade, the exhibition travelled to the USA, Great Britain and Sweden.
