Fulu Miziki - "the sound of dustbins" in Lingala - is a collective from Kinshasa that defines itself as an Eco-Friendly-Afro-Futuristic-Punk assembly. Their instruments, costumes and masks are made entirely from recycled and collected materials. Carrying a pan-African message of artistic liberation and peace, and a critical look at the ecological situation in the DRC and the world, they assert that everything can be salvaged and re-enchanted. The collective exhibited its costumes and masks at the Maison des Arts in Saint-Herblain in 2025.
