A geometric composition structured around triangles and rhythmic shapes, in which Konaté is already laying the foundations of his plastic language: the sign as a basic unit, colour as a symbolic vector. The gris-gris in the title anchors the work in Manding cosmology, and these sewn amulets, charged with signs of protection, are transposed here into an abstract pictorial vocabulary.
