Paperback, spine broken. 420 pages + tables, 26.5 x 16 x 3.5 cm. Agnès SOREL (c. 1422–1450), nicknamed the ‘Lady of Beauty’, was the first officially recognised mistress of King Charles VII (also known as the ‘Little King of Bourges’).
BATBEDAT, Th., ‘De Lesseps intime’. Paris, Juven, undated (c. 1900). Percaline half-binding, gilt title, cover intact, water stain on the spine. Black-and-white illustrations and frontispiece. De Lesseps spent much of his life at the Château de la Chesnay (VATAN), where he died in 1894. 231 pages + table of contents, 20 x 14 x 2 cm.
