A collection of machines, instruments, utensils, structures, apparatus, etc., used in domestic and industrial agriculture; based on drawings made in various parts of Europe. Paris, at the Count de Lasteyrie’s lithographic workshop, 1820–1821. 19 instalments in 2 vols. in-4, [3] ff. (title page with lithographed vignette, list of plates, captions for plates I & II), followed by mixed pagination, with 80 lithographed plates; [2] ff. (title page with lithographed vignette, list of plates), followed by multiple pagination, with 83 lithographed plates, making a total of 163 plates (out of 200), in sheets, in 19 delivery covers of printed blue paper, in a cardboard portfolio with traces of laces. First edition of this work bringing together the two favourite fields of Count Charles-Philibert de Lasteyrie du Saillant (1759–1849): agronomy and lithography (he was one of the first to introduce the technique to France).
