In-12, glazed veal leather with natural grain, plain spine with decoration, title label in red morocco, gilt fillet and scrolls framing the covers, gilt scrolls on the edges and fillets, gilt edges (contemporary binding). “A little-known translation which is not without interest” by P.-H. ANSON (1744–1810) (Quérard, *France littéraire* I, 52.) A very fine copy. Autograph dedication signed by the translator opposite the title page. Ex-libris J.M.
