Large quarto comprising [1] frontispiece, [1] title page, [2] folios, 1095 pages, [1] folio, 53–[2] pages. Later binding in red cardboard, covers covered with black paper. Binding worn. Frontispiece by Audran and 9 (out of 10) fine full-page copperplate engravings (the first engraving is missing, replaced here by an engraved vignette depicting an ancient sacrifice). The title page of the supplement has been bound in place of the missing main title page.
