Newly printed, corrected by Lord Denis Sauvage de Fontenailles en Brie, and supplemented, in accordance with modern historians, up to the year one thousand five hundred and fifty-three. Paris, Jean de Roigny, 1553. Folio comprising [7] folios (general title page, title page of the second volume (incorrectly placed here), preface and table of contents), cxxx folios, [1] folio (to the readers), [4] folios (table of contents), cxlix ff. (f. xii is misplaced before the pages of the table of contents). Light-coloured half-calf, smooth spine with decoration (bound in the early 19th century). Restorations to the introductory leaves (with some text loss in certain cases). The paper of the last three leaves is gnawed, with text loss and extensive restoration to the last one. Pinholes, very pronounced in places
