Also included: [CHAUSSURES RAOUL]. Three Raoul Shoes diaries. 3 volumes in-8, in cloth-bound cardboard in different colours—ochre, red and green—with title and date on the front cover. Paris, Chaussures Raoul, 1907–1911–1913. An advertising diary featuring, in addition to advertisements for Raoul’s shops, two dates per page, pages for notes, some advice or information, and a sheet of blotting paper bearing the company’s name for the year 1907.
The 1911 edition also includes a calendar, 8 pages illustrated with men’s and women’s shoe designs, and three sheets of blotting paper. The 1913 edition follows the same format as the previous one, with its fourth sheet of pink blotting paper. Enclosed are two illustrated blotting papers advertising slippers. One is for ‘Docteur Louis’ slippers, the other for those by ‘Docteur Émile Bérard’, bearing a stamp from the ‘Au bon chasseur’ establishment in Aire-sur-la-Lys.
