Large 8vo, green half-shagreen with corner pieces, ribbed spine, gilt head, covers intact (contemporary binding). IV-138 pp. First edition on the theme of ‘women’s adornments’, following on from *L’Eventail*, published in 1882. It is adorned with rich chromolithographic decorations on the covers and illustrations in various shades (black, sepia, ochre, green, bluish) by Paul AVRIL. (Vicaire VII, 923). Corners rubbed, occasional foxing. A good copy.
