This manuscript, attributed to Pierre-Joseph de Bourcet, is an important document in the military history of the Alps in the 18th century. It brings together various texts, some of which were included in the *Mémoires militaires sur les frontières de la France, du Piémont et de la Savoie* (Military Memoirs on the Borders of France, Piedmont and Savoy), published in Berlin in 1801 by Decker. (Details available on request.)
Restoration work has been carried out on the binding, particularly on the corners, the headbands and the lower hinge.
