A work illustrated with plans and a map of Brabant, to aid understanding of the positions. The Hague, Scheurleer, 1747. In-8, xv-[1]-235 pp. Speckled calfskin, plain spine with decoration, red edges (contemporary binding). Worn headbands, split joints. First edition, illustrated with 3 maps and 4 fold-out plates, and detailing the various military operations of 1746 in Belgium, including the sieges of Antwerp and Namur and the Battle of Raucoux. A tear on the fold-out map on the frontispiece has been repaired with adhesive tape. A few foxing spots. (Barbier, II, 1033.)
