[The Great War 1914–1918 – Trench Newspapers]. Télé-mail. The official publication of the signalmen in the field. Complete collection. , 1914–1916. 18 issues bound in 1 quarto volume, plain brown half-cloth, smooth spine. A very rare complete collection, published in three instalments, of the telegraph corps’ front-line newspaper, the first mimeographed issue of which appeared on 1 December 1914 on the initiative of André Igon, a telegraph engineer with the 8th Engineers, under the title (inspired by the British *Daily Mail*) *Télé-Mail*, published wherever, whenever and however it can. A second series, mimeographed under the expanded title *Télé-Mail: Organ of the Telegraph Sappers, Appearing Where and When It Can*, was published on 18 February 1915 and ceased after four issues (February–May 1915, Nos. 1–4). *Télé-Mail: The Journal of the Sappers, Telegraphists and Radio Telegraphists in the Field*, published wherever possible (on the 1st and 16th of each month), reappeared under its definitive title on 17 December 1915, with a print run of 2,500 copies in the hamlet of Rousbrugge-Harringhe, not far from Ypres, where there was a small Flemish printing works. On 1 July 1916, the thirteenth and final issue appeared, whilst the editorial team had been dispersed.
