Foreword by Jean VALLERY-RADOT, curator of the Cabinet des Estampes; index of authors; table of contents. The Ridder donation comprises collections of drawings and prints, illustrated books, regimental histories, and studies on uniforms, flags and weaponry. It covers the history of the armed forces from their origins to the present day, with a particular focus on the 18th and 19th centuries.
