Published by the Reverend Sabatier, and drawn from the handwritten annals of the Count of R*** [Rivarol]. Sl, 1790. 3 parts in 1 vol. in-8, ivory half-vellum in the Bradel style (later binding). A very rare complete collection of the three parts comprising 23, 24 and 8 issues respectively. “A journal devoted purely to discussion and criticism; it is, as the authors themselves state, merely a series of reflections on the decrees of the National Assembly, on the government’s failings and on the misfortunes of France. Yet from this perspective, it is one of the most important publications for the history of that era.
