[MANUSCRIPT. – CATALONIA]. Spanish War. 1823. Sl, undated (1823). 7 items in one folio volume, green half-shagreen, ribbed spine (modern binding). A collection of several handwritten memoirs, generally in draft form, with numerous erasures and crossings-out, concerning the operations in the spring of 1823 by units under the command of Marshal Moncey, to whom Louis XVIII had appointed the post of commander-in-chief of the 4th Corps of the expeditionary army, intended for the invasion of Catalonia. Forming a sort of small army separate from the rest of the expeditionary force, it consisted of three divisions commanded by General Curial, the Baron de Damas and General Donnadieu.
