In-12, (2)-378-(2) pp., glazed light-coloured calfskin, cold-stamped border on the covers, decorated ribbed spine, gilt coat of arms embossed in the centre, title label in red morocco, gilded fillet on the edges, red edges (contemporary binding) First edition, featuring a frontispiece and an engraved title vignette. A copy bearing the coat of arms of Louis-Hyacinthe Boyer de Crémilles (1700–1768), Lieutenant-General of the Army of Flanders (1748), aide-de-camp to Marshal de Belle-Isle, Minister of War (1758), and Commander-in-Chief in the province of Artois.
