In-8, marbled calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, red and green title labels, filleted edges, red edges (contemporary binding). Title vignette and frontispiece engraved by de Launey after EISEN. The illustrations listed on p. 238 are missing. (Barbier, I, 746; Cohen, 86; Gay, I, 709; Viollet-le-Duc, 88) Bound together with: IMBERT (Barthélemy). Historiettes ou nouvelles en vers. Amsterdam, 1774. Frontispiece and 4 vignettes after MOREAU the Younger. (Gay, II, 603). Engraved bookplate by M. Floccard and leather bookplate marked ‘KF’. Slight rubbing, marginal water stain on the title page of the second volume; otherwise a fine copy.
