In-12, brown calfskin, spine ribbed, decorated and inscribed, marbled edges (contemporary binding). Published by Mme Ulrich, a friend of La Fontaine, this volume contains several previously unpublished works or those published only in Holland, including 9 fables and the tale of *Les Quiproquo*. A reprint of the first edition published in the same year by De Luyne in Paris, with Amaulry sharing in the printing licence. Binding restored. Ex-libris bearing the coat of arms of the Gourio du Refuge family and a leather ex-libris marked ‘KF’. (Tchémerzine, III, 892; Brunet, III, 762)
