SWIFT (Jonathan). *The Tale of the Barrel*, containing all that is most sublime and mysterious in the arts and sciences; with several other most curious pieces. , Henri Scheurleer, 1757. 3 vols. in-12, pale calfskin, plain spine with decoration, red title and volume number labels, blind-stamped fillet framing the covers, marbled edges (contemporary binding). Translated from the English by van Effen and illustrated with a frontispiece and 7 engraved plates outside the text.
