In-12, [4]-156-[2] pp. Bradel binding in orange half-percaline with corner pieces, title page, gilt fleur-de-lis in the centre, double gilt line at the spine, gilt head (contemporary binding). Skinning on the endpapers and half-title; otherwise a very fine copy of this rare work on sexual initiation intended for inexperienced young women. It provides instructions and descriptions of 63 sexual positions, but also describes various techniques of tribadism, advanced methods of onanism and lessons on the prevention of conception.
