A few foxing spots. Includes a handwritten letter from the writer Léon Gozlan, addressed to Alphonse Karr, 1 p. in-12, in which he explains why their names do not appear in the Charter: “Nestor [Roqueplan] was afraid of offending Messrs de Wailly, of whom you are, he says, the enemy [...]”.
